Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury now Official

The Galaxy S Light Luxury was just announced in China packing very modest specs, the device is pretty much a "lite" variant of the Galaxy S8. The 5.8' screen from the S8 makes a return keeping the same dimensions as its bigger brother. The Light S features the same Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (18.5:9). The phone has a single camera on the back - 16 MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. It can record 4K video at 30 fps, but OIS is absent (surprisingly). The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The Snapdragon 660 chipset inside the Galaxy S Light Luxury should offer similar CPU performance to the Galaxy S8's 835. It does have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Given the Galaxy S Light Luxury's size, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a 3,000 mAh battery – the same capacity as the Galaxy S8. There’s support for fast wireless and wired charging, the latter of which goes over the USB-C port....

Expected Merger between Sprint and T-mobile called off

Earlier this year in September, there were rumours of a merger between Sprint and T-mobile, then by early october, it ws heard that such merger was in its concluding stage, although a Nekkei exclusive report states that Sprint owner, Softbank, wants to opt out from the mer ger. The information is expected to be officially delivered to Deutsche Telekom, owner of T-mobile. Prior to this, they both had reached an agreement to make T-mobile and Sprint one of the largest carriers in the United States seeing that they both are among the top 5 largest carriers in the country.  According to the report, all that was left was to settle out who had controlling shares, that was when the deal began to crumble. As Softbank has tried to buy T-mobile from Deutsche Telekom in 2014 but could not due to regulatory authorities, it seemed only fair that they try to be the owner of the majority of the shares if the deal went through. They both wanted controlling stakes at the new ...

Car Models That Support Wireless Charging for the iPhone X and iPhone 8

One of the cool features Apple inc added to their latest smartphones releases is the wireless charging functionality, on my previous article on the iPhone X , I mentioned that Apple utilized the Qi standard for wireless charging, But car manufacturers have only recently started implementing this standard in their products. This means at present, only a handful of car models support the use of the Qi technology, making most cars unable to wirelessly charge the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X using Qi standards. Before Qi, special phone cases were required to utilize the wireless charging capabilities of cars but that was a tad stressful for most people. So if you’ve already gotten the iPhone 8 or the iPhone X and you feel like taking advantage of the Qi standard wireless charging of these devices in your next car, then you should be looking to buy car models from these manufacturers • Audi • Ford • BMW • Chrysler • Honda • Mercedes-Benz • Volkswagen • Toyota • PSA • Volvo F...

Meet the Nissan IMX, A Possible Rival For the TESLA Model X?

The latest electric vehicle by Nissan which was unveiled at the Tokyo motor show this week and it seems to be the most practical car out there right now, why? Probably because it combines the SUV and an all autonomus and electric functionality together. The IMx combines both an electric and autonomous functionality. Although some critics seem a little disapointrd in the latest car design, while others think it is just an elder version of the Nissan LEAF, though its size is that of a Nissan Rogue I really wasn’t expecting nissan to pull off a one timer at the event. The IMx is a midsize electric SUV is an all-wheel drive with dual motors, 372 miles drive on a single charge, a 429 horsepower (320kW) combined, 516lbft of torque which surmised in English to be proabably the coolest SUV of the year. Its fully autonomous function includes self-driving, self-parkingand a vehicle-to-grid connectivity, this could help provide enough power to run a house or power a local gri...
