Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury now Official

The Galaxy S Light Luxury was just announced in China packing very modest specs, the device is pretty much a "lite" variant of the Galaxy S8. The 5.8' screen from the S8 makes a return keeping the same dimensions as its bigger brother. The Light S features the same Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (18.5:9). The phone has a single camera on the back - 16 MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. It can record 4K video at 30 fps, but OIS is absent (surprisingly). The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The Snapdragon 660 chipset inside the Galaxy S Light Luxury should offer similar CPU performance to the Galaxy S8's 835. It does have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Given the Galaxy S Light Luxury's size, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a 3,000 mAh battery – the same capacity as the Galaxy S8. There’s support for fast wireless and wired charging, the latter of which goes over the USB-C port....

YOU NEED A BRAIN TO SLEEP, UNLESS YOU’RE A JELLYFISH

We have all wondered at some point in our lives why sleep is necessary. Ancient folktales probably had it that sleep was the way the gods protected us from the dangers of the night or when our spirit bodies had to go and live another life.  Our parents probably at some point in our lives told us that without sleep they’ll probably go mad from the stress we give them .
While sleep is necessary for the brain to function properly while we are awake, new studies proves otherwise.
Up until now there was no animal that slept that did not have a brain. All animals that existed from the tiny Etruscan shrew to the mighty blue whale, all require sleep to function properly even if it was just for a little moment before they continued their daily lives.
But from recent discoveries, it has been proven that the brain is not necessary for sleep or you have to be a jelly fish to be able to do so. The jellyfish of genus Cassiopea, which lives upside down with no form a central nervous system has been observed has only 8 recorded species. The jellyfish has been shown to undergo a sleep like trait
They have a mild sting sine they photosynthesize which is due to the presence of zooxanthellae in their tissues they are sometimes picked by crabs because of their stinging trait as a defence mechanism against predators.
Studies showed that the jellyfish pulsed less often at night and they can be woken by dropping food where they are kept.
Professor Paul Sternberg from the California Institute of Technology, (Caltech) said “It’s the first example of sleep in animals without a brain.” He compared the trait to that of humans who perceive a hot cup of coffee in the morning.
Another test was observed when the jellyfish were disturbed durig their low activity period but it was observed that it took them thrice the time taken at night. This was also observed in animals when they were sleep deprived.
A graduate student from the team also added that humans and jellyfish might seem completely different but we clearly exhibit the same sleep trait
