The Galaxy S Light Luxury was just announced in China packing very modest specs, the device is pretty much a "lite" variant of the Galaxy S8. The 5.8' screen from the S8 makes a return keeping the same dimensions as its bigger brother. The Light S features the same Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (18.5:9). The phone has a single camera on the back - 16 MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. It can record 4K video at 30 fps, but OIS is absent (surprisingly). The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The Snapdragon 660 chipset inside the Galaxy S Light Luxury should offer similar CPU performance to the Galaxy S8's 835. It does have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Given the Galaxy S Light Luxury's size, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a 3,000 mAh battery – the same capacity as the Galaxy S8. There’s support for fast wireless and wired charging, the latter of which goes over the USB-C port....
The news of the Chinese Tech firm, OPPO, releasing its new
R11s has already began spreading round the internet. While we are still waiting
for the phone, it can be seen the design and properties of the phone will not
be far-fetched from leaked renders of the phone or specifications as predicted
by some outlet.
Well, remember when your hands could block the sound output
when you are playing game (especially when you need to hear your victory chant,
CoC fans can relate?), oh well, they apparently have a solution for that now.
With the development of “crescent arcs” the device’s hardware would allow you
to play or watch videos. Although this was done by modifying the headphone and
microUSB port.
ColorOS 3.2 seems to bring a new and special feature called Split Screen mode(which I am guessing will be similar to the Axon M’s split screen mode also) . it also comes with facial unlock which is integrated using an AI to recognise its user. It can do so in as quick as 0.08 seconds.
Its main cameras are kinda a roll over from the R11 which
includes a dual camera system, combining a 16MP and a 20MP camera both with
f/1.7 apertures. Also the 20MP camera is known as its “selfie camera”
integrated with the AI for some advanced beautification settings.(clears throat).
It uses Gorilla Glass 5 and also has a 6.01 inch AMOLED display with FHD+
resolutions at 2160 x 1080 pixels.
Well if you are in china, the phone should be coming your
way on the November 10 with 3 color options i.e. red, black and champagne. Also
the black and champagne will cost about CNY 2,999
